About Our Diaspora Investment Platform

The Diaspora Investment Platform was born out of a shared desire among Zimbabweans living abroad to create meaningful, trusted, and scalable pathways for investing back home. Many diaspora members wish to contribute but are often discouraged by poor coordination, fear of fraud, and a lack of credible platforms.

This movement is not theoretical — it's practical and built on models that work. We've studied and adapted strategies used by successful diaspora communities around the world:

• Ethiopians in the U.S. and Europe who pool resources to build health centers and schools in their regions.
• Pakistani communities in South Africa, who collaborate to import household and consumer goods from China, then sell them locally for profit.
• Nigerians across Southern Africa, who dominate the used and new car import and resale markets, showing how collective business strategy and capital can yield long-term income and community empowerment.

We are learning from these examples to create something uniquely Zimbabwean — a trusted, transparent, and community-first platform that allows diasporans to pool resources, vote on priorities, co-invest, and grow together.

We are a growing collective of Zimbabweans across the globe — entrepreneurs, professionals, tradespeople, developers, and visionaries — who believe in building a better Zimbabwe through organized, ethical, and people-led investment structures. Many of us have personally experienced the risks and frustrations of individual efforts, and we are committed to doing things differently — together.
