Welcome to the Zimbabwe Diaspora Initiative platform ("Platform"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account or using our Platform, you:

• Confirm you are at least 18 years old
• Accept all provisions in these Terms
• Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, current information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts violating these Terms

3. Investment Services

Our Platform facilitates diaspora investments through:

• Pooled Investment Circles: Collective funding of vetted projects
• Direct Opportunities: Verified investment offerings
• Advisory Services: Market insights and guidance

All investments carry risk. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Not use the Platform for illegal activities
• Not attempt to disrupt our services
• Comply with all applicable financial regulations
• Report suspicious activity immediately

5. No Fees Policy

• Membership is completely free – there are no joining or annual fees.
• The Zimbabwe Diaspora Initiative does not charge any service or transaction fees.
• All participation is voluntary, and members are never asked for payment to access our programs.

6. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, including logos, text, and software, is our protected property. You may not:

• Reproduce or redistribute materials without permission
• Reverse engineer our Platform
• Use our branding without authorization

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• We're not liable for investment losses
• We don't guarantee uninterrupted service
• Our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted under Zimbabwean law

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiations (30 days)
2. Mediation in Harare, Zimbabwe
3. If unresolved, binding arbitration under Zim law

9. Termination

We may terminate accounts for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Fraudulent activity
• Inactivity exceeding 24 months

You may close your account anytime via the Platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Zimbabwean law. Any legal actions must be filed in Harare courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We'll notify users of material changes 30 days in advance via email and Platform notifications.
